Goodwill purchases Canvas, Gessoed over (you can still 

faintly see the oil painting of a rose)

reference photos - mostly googled and with the idea

of the direction and colors for the piece, not for an

exact replica to copy (I want to create my own image,

based on my feeling and emotion I get from it, adding and

subtracting to as I please)

Pencil it in

Laying down the colors that are the foundation.  I look for 

combinations that work with each other, and love the idea of 

juxtaposition creating new colors and shapes without really

mixing them.
