Sketchbook inspiration

Most of my work begins in my sketchbook. I play out ideas with pen and ink, and dissect the root of my inspiration for the image. Sometimes I like the image in my sketchbook better than the painting, collage, or charcoal because it is closest to what I feel is important. Sketchbooks are the best!
