This is the portrait of Solomon. He was the son of a bus driver that I work with at Madrona K-8. He passed away and this is my pencil sketch that I made this past sunday night. Drawn with a heavy heart.

    Thanks for checking it out. Your Blog is impressive! Gonna have to visit frequently to check your videos out. I'm always looking for ways to improve. Having no formal art education is a challenge sometimes, especially when I step out of my favorite mediums or subjects (I currently stick to pen & ink, pencil, and the occasional pastel).
